1/4 Ceramic Pressure Nozzle Kit For Pressure Pot Blasters

The 1/4″ is the standard production nozzle for shops running automotive panels, structural steel, and industrial components. At 500 lbs/hr and 80 CFM, it wears faster than smaller bores. Shops using 1/4″ as their primary nozzle go through replacements on a regular predictable cycle.

The kit includes 2 ceramic 1/4″ nozzles and 1 nozzle washer. The washer seals the nozzle against the pressure pot housing. Replace it with each nozzle change - it compresses and deforms under installation torque and does not seal correctly once removed and reinstalled in the blaster.

The 1/4″ nozzle draws 80 CFM at 80 PSI. A 20 HP two-stage compressor sustains this bore in production. Compressors below 80 CFM sustained output cycle on during blasting, dropping throughput below 500 lbs/hr and reducing blast coverage per pass significantly.

Replace when blast coverage per pass shrinks noticeably, when the bore is visibly wider than 1/4″, or when throughput drops below 500 lbs/hr. At 80 CFM and 500 lbs/hr, the 1/4″ bore wears faster than smaller sizes - inspect after every 30 to 40 hours of production blasting.

The 2-pack aligns nozzle purchasing with the replacement cycle. One nozzle runs until worn, the backup goes in immediately, and a reorder is triggered at that point - not when the shop runs out. This prevents unplanned downtime from a nozzle failure while waiting for a new order to arrive.
