1/4 Ceramic Siphon Blaster Nozzle Kit (Medium)

The 1/4″ bore handles the widest range of siphon cabinet work: auto parts, brackets, small structural components, and general surface prep. At 15 CFM, it covers more than 13/64″ Small without the higher pressure demand of 5/16″ Large. Most ALC siphon cabinet users start with the 1/4″ Medium size.

The kit includes 2 ceramic 1/4″ nozzles, 1 air jet, 1 air jet washer, and 1 wrench. The air jet is matched to the 1/4″ nozzle for correct clearance. Replacing both together restores the vacuum draw. The wrench ensures correct torque when seating the nozzle in the siphon gun assembly.

The 13/64″ Small runs 7 CFM for precision work. The 1/4″ Medium runs 15 CFM for general cabinet blasting. The 5/16″ Large runs 20 CFM for maximum siphon throughput. Choose 1/4″ Medium for versatile general use where both precision and coverage speed matter in the ALC siphon cabinet.

The 1/4″ siphon nozzle draws 15 CFM at 80 PSI. A 7 to 10 HP two-stage compressor sustains this size continuously. Single-stage compressors that cannot maintain 15 CFM at 80 PSI will pressure-drop during blasting, reducing media draw and blast coverage per pass in the cabinet.

Replace the kit when blast output drops without a pressure change, when media draw becomes inconsistent, or when the bore shows visible wear. Replace the nozzle and air jet together - worn jets produce the same media draw symptoms as worn nozzles. Matched components restore correct siphon clearance.
