1/8 Siphon Blaster Air Jets

The 1/8″ air jet is designed for ALC siphon guns using 1/4″ nozzles. The 1/8″ orifice and 1/4″ nozzle bore are matched for the clearance that creates vacuum to draw media. Using this air jet with a different nozzle size changes the clearance and reduces media draw through the siphon assembly.

The air jet channels high-pressure air through a small orifice that creates a low-pressure zone around the nozzle entry. This draws abrasive media up from the hopper into the blast stream. A worn or incorrectly sized air jet reduces this vacuum and drops media flow through the cabinet.

Replace the 1/8″ air jet when siphon media draw drops without a pressure change, when blast output becomes inconsistent at standard pressure, or when the jet orifice shows visible widening. A worn air jet produces the same blast output symptoms as a worn nozzle - inspect both when media flow drops.

Replace both when both show wear. If only one is worn, replace only that component. A new air jet with a worn nozzle restores vacuum but the worn bore still reduces blast output. A new nozzle with a worn jet leaves vacuum reduced. Both must be serviceable for full siphon blast performance.

The 1/8″ air jet fits ALC siphon blast cabinet guns using 1/4″ nozzles. Verify your ALC cabinet uses 1/4″ nozzles before ordering. Air jets are size-specific - the 1/8″ orifice is matched to the 1/4″ nozzle bore and is not compatible with ALC guns using 13/64″ or 5/16″ nozzles.
