5/16 Ceramic Siphon Blaster Nozzle (Large)

The 5/16″ Large kit suits cabinet work on larger parts: automotive panels, larger castings, and structural components requiring maximum blast coverage. At 20 CFM and 90 PSI, it delivers the highest throughput in the ALC ceramic siphon kit range. Use it when the 1/4″ Medium is too slow for your work.

The kit includes 2 ceramic 5/16″ nozzles, 1 air jet, 1 air jet washer, and 1 wrench. The air jet and nozzle are matched for correct clearance to drive consistent vacuum media draw. Replacing both together from the kit ensures siphon performance is fully restored when the assembly wears.

The 5/16″ Large kit is rated 20 CFM at 90 PSI. The larger bore requires the extra pressure to maintain consistent media draw through the siphon assembly. Set your compressor outlet to 90 PSI when using the Large kit to achieve the rated 20 CFM media flow through the nozzle.

The 1/4″ Medium runs at 15 CFM and 80 PSI for general cabinet work. The 5/16″ Large runs at 20 CFM and 90 PSI for maximum throughput on larger parts. Choose 5/16″ when the 1/4″ is too slow for the parts you are blasting. Ensure your compressor reaches 90 PSI before using the Large kit.

Replace the kit when media draw drops without a pressure change, when the blast pattern becomes uneven, or when the bore shows visible widening. Inspect the air jet at the same time - a worn 5/16″ air jet reduces vacuum draw and produces the same output symptoms as a worn nozzle.
