5/32 Ceramic Pressure Nozzle Kit For Pressure Pot Blasters

Shops blasting motorcycle frames, railing sections, and medium automotive parts with 5/32″ as their primary nozzle benefit most. At 200 lbs/hr and 25 CFM, the 5/32″ runs through nozzle life faster than smaller bores. The 2-pack removes the reorder delay when the working nozzle wears out.

The kit includes 2 ceramic 5/32″ nozzles and 1 nozzle washer. Replace the washer each time you swap nozzles - it compresses under the nut cap and does not reseal correctly after removal. Reusing an old washer risks abrasive leakage around the nozzle fitting during blasting.

The 5/32″ nozzle draws 25 CFM at 80 PSI. A 10 HP two-stage compressor sustains this bore in production. If your compressor cycles on during blasting at this size, its sustained output is below 25 CFM - step down to 1/8″ or increase compressor capacity before running 5/32″ in production.

Replace when blast coverage per pass drops noticeably, when the bore shows visible widening, or when throughput falls below 200 lbs/hr at standard pressure. Compare blast area per pass weekly to track wear before it affects production output at this mid-range bore size.

The 2-pack gives two full nozzle service intervals before reordering. Service life depends on abrasive type - aluminum oxide wears ceramic faster than glass bead. At typical production volumes with aluminum oxide, plan 30 to 50 hours per nozzle at this bore size before replacement.
