5/32 Siphon Blaster Air Jet

The 5/32″ air jet is designed for ALC siphon guns using 5/16″ nozzles. The 5/32″ orifice and 5/16″ bore are matched for the clearance that creates vacuum to draw media. Using this air jet with a different nozzle size changes the clearance and reduces media draw through the siphon gun assembly.

The 1/8″ air jet pairs with 1/4″ nozzles at 15 CFM. The 5/32″ air jet pairs with 5/16″ nozzles at 20 CFM. Each jet is matched to a specific nozzle bore. Using the 1/8″ jet with a 5/16″ nozzle changes the clearance and reduces media draw at the higher 5/16″ flow rate.

Replace the 5/32″ air jet when siphon media draw drops without a pressure change, when blast output becomes inconsistent at standard pressure, or when the jet orifice shows visible widening. A worn 5/32″ jet reduces the vacuum that drives media draw through the 5/16″ siphon assembly.

Replace both when both show wear. If only one is worn, replace only that component. A new air jet with a worn 5/16″ nozzle restores vacuum but the worn bore still reduces blast output. A new nozzle with a worn jet leaves vacuum reduced. Both must be serviceable for full siphon performance.

Using an incorrect air jet with a 5/16″ nozzle changes the clearance that drives media vacuum. The 5/32″ jet is matched to the 5/16″ nozzle for the clearance that delivers 20 CFM media draw. A non-matching jet reduces media draw even if air pressure and the nozzle are both correct.
