The CFF 800LP is the next logical step for a Dual Agent Fire Suppression unit. The CFF line is designed with dual agent technology which combines our CF-33 dry and our FM-200 to form a Thixotropic gel within the tank. The original design was the CFF800 and is used in emergency  power stations, backup spaces and in the coal mining industries to name a few. With modern systems being installed to protect against lithium-Ion battery cells as the dual agent have shown great performance when addressing thermal runaway. These units are about 20% more efficient than their CFP line counterparts as they are more temperature sensitive. These LP units are installed horizontally for low ceiling applications without sacrificing the performance of the traditional CFF800. The CFF 800LP takes up a space of 7.25" compared the the 15" space needed for the vertically installed CFF 800.

These fire suppression systems must be installed horizontally with the sprinkler deflector pointed downward. The unit is to be used in areas where temperature fall between 32° and 120° Fahrenheit (0° to 48.89° Celsius). This unit is t o be mounted or attached to a secure ceiling, for example on wood, metal or concrete. Insure there is no obstruction to be free flow operations of the sprinkler head and dispersment of the extinguishment within the enclosure. Do not mount on suspended ceilings or loose tiles.

This fire suppression system is a self activation unit. Each unit is designed to initiate automatically by means of a sprinkler head rated at 155°F (68°C) The temperature rating for each sprinkler head is stamped on the star shaped deflector in both Fahrenheit and Celsius measurements. When the temperature rise to activate this unit, the sprinkler head opens automatically and dispenses the entire contents in less than 10 seconds onto the fire and throughout the enclosure being protected. If the unit is equipped with the optional pressure switch, a signal is sent at the time of discharge to activate accessory equipment such as an alarm.
