Rubber Sealing Blocks for Deadman Assembly (40166)

The 40166 rubber sealing blocks fit standard deadman valve assemblies used on most pressure-type abrasive blast pots. They are a consumable replacement part that wears with regular use. If your blast pot fails to hold pressure at idle, worn sealing blocks are a common cause.

Replace the sealing blocks when the blast pot no longer holds pressure with the deadman handle released, or when the blocks show visible compression set, cracking, or hardening. In high-use shops running a blast pot daily, inspect blocks every 30 to 60 days and replace as needed.

Each package contains three rubber sealing blocks. The blocks measure 2-1/8 inches on each side. Keep a spare set on hand so production does not stop when a worn block needs immediate replacement during a blasting shift.
