PS-1L is a versatile liquid paint and powder coat stripper  that has rapidly become the industry standard in coating removal. Crafted with a methylene chloride base and enhanced with caustic additives. PS-1L is your go-to solution for stripping a variety of coatings which include epoxy coatings, powder coating, Cerakote and much much more. PS-1L will not remove chrome or nickel plating.

Our PS-1L powder coat stripper is a liquid emulsion stripper and is our lowest cost stripper and our most popular when it comes to removal of powder coating. This stripper works on most types of metals and will not pit, flash rust or etch the surface This is not intended for use on Magnesium. PS-1L is specifically designed  to remove powder coating from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and silicone at room temperatures without the dangers of harmful acids.

 Always use these products at room temperatures. Strip[ping times may vary from project to project depending of the type of coating and thickness of coating being removed as well as various environmental factors. While agitation is not required it may accelerate stripping (air agitation is not recommended and will accelerate evaporation of the material). After stripping the project should be rinced thoroughly in fresh ter to neutralize the chemical

When not in use store the unused and used chemicals in locked will ventilate and environmentally friendly (cool place). Keep the chemical in an airtight poly or stainless steel container to prevent evaporation, and as a safety precaution (suggested use is to keep covered during use AND when storing this chemical).

• At times it may be necessary to strain the excess powder from the chemical, this improves the effectiveness of the chemical and lengthens its lifespan for additional usage.
• Room temperature is defined as 50° – 85° F; however optimal usage is between 60° and 75° F. Do not heat the stripper as it does not improve performance and only increases the rate of evaporation.
• While this chemical can be used on a variety of metals and silicone softer metal such al aluminum should not remain in the stripper for extended periods of time as this may cause pitting and etching of the substrates surface.
• At times stripper may need to be mixed if it has been sitting for a period of time as it may separate, this does not mean it has gone bad.
